Healthcare
Family Voices Oregon Lauren Bridge Phone: (503) 215-2504 E-mail: lbridge@providence.org Family Voices in Oregon works closely with many professional partners within the state including Title V, the Medicaid Agency, DD, managed care, providers, Children's Hospital, the UAP, AAP, Education and other family organizations. Along with MCHB partners and Family Voices Coordinators in the other Region X states, they have are planning the first ever family driven Regional Conference for teams of parents and professionals, to be held in January of 2001. MCHB Funding and in-kind support from many partners have helped them make this exciting event a reality. Among the biggest problems for families of CSHCN in Oregon are limitations on access to providers and specialists as managed care plans have pulled out of some counties, or out of the Oregon Health Plan, and the trouble families have finding the information they need about available supports and services.
